Oiling is a care treatment used for hundreds of years, among others by Indian women, who in this way protected their hair and scalp from excessive drying and loss of moisture. Despite the fact that this activity has been known for so long, it has only recently gained popularity in Poland, becoming an increasingly popular method of care.
If you dream of your hair becoming an asset that emphasizes your femininity, you need to devote a little more attention to it. Daily care with an ordinary, often strongly cleansing shampoo and conditioner applied from time to time is definitely not enough. In order for your hair to be healthy, shiny and smooth, it is necessary to choose cosmetics that meet its needs. When looking for ideal care products, it is worth paying attention to their compositions. The most beneficial effect on the condition of our skin and hair will have preparations created on the basis of natural ingredients, without unnecessary additives.
According to Ayurvedic philosophy, the condition of our hair, in addition to proper care, is primarily influenced by diet and lifestyle. The external condition is a reflection of what is happening inside. That is why balance is so important and we should not underestimate it.
According to the aforementioned philosophy, oils are the basis of care. They contain many nutrients that more easily reach the deeper tissues and structures of our hair. The effects of oiling are visible in a relatively short time. Additionally, choosing the right shampoo, conditioner and the all-important lotion allows you to take your care, and above all its effects, to a higher level!
Some people are skeptical about oiling. They are afraid of the difficulties associated with washing the oil off the head, making it too greasy or weighing down the strands. To dispel your fears, you need to thoroughly explore the techniques, choose the right care products, and above all, try it! We hope that our list of benefits will convince you to do this treatment.

Indian women are famous for their healthy, strong and long hair. This is certainly due to genes, but also to the use of centuries-old care traditions derived from Vedic teachings.
Ayurvedic hair oils contain herbal extracts that condition hair. The most effective herbs used for hair in Ayurveda that we can find in oils available on the market today are brhringraj, shikakai, hibiscus and amla. You will find all of them in Sattva Ayurveda hair oils, which are manufactured in India. Their collections are famous for their recipes based on carefully selected blends of Ayurvedic herbs and Indian spices effective in care.
To choose the right hair oil, you need to take into account your hair type.
For dry, hard to tame, curly and split-end hair, Sattva Ayurveda Brahmi Amla Oil is ideal, containing herbs and extracts that take care of the proper pH level of the scalp, strengthen hair follicles, add elasticity and accelerate the appearance of "baby hair". Another suitable choice will be Sattva Ayurveda Maha Bhringraj Oil, in which you will find extracts with a strengthening effect and castor and sesame oil, which have a moisturizing and regenerating effect, protecting the hair from the effects of unfavorable weather conditions.
If your hair starts to go grey early and is prone to falling out, make sure that the oil contains ingredients such as: mulethi extract, bhringraj, shikakai or the aforementioned amla, as well as sunflower oil. All of these ingredients are contained in the herbal revitalizing oil from Sattva Ayurveda.
The needs of long, thick hair, prone to oiliness, will be perfectly met by, among others, mustard oil, which has a moisturizing and nourishing effect.
Hair oiling is a treatment that you can do yourself at home. All you need to do is warm a small amount of oil in your hands and gently massage it into your scalp in circular motions, then spread it along the length of your hair. If you want to give your hair a real beauty ritual, leave the oil on for about 3-4 hours. If that's too much for you, 30 minutes is enough for the ingredients to start working.
The oil can be washed off with one of the shampoos from the Sattva Ayurveda line, which are great at degreasing and additionally nourishing the hair. Our favorite is a mild, naturally moisturizing shampoo with a mango scent. Such a treatment repeated 1-2 times a week will keep your hair in good condition and give it a healthy look.
