Collection: Face Toner and Rose Water – Rose Toner Spray
Face Toner and Rose Water – Rose Toner Spray
×Used after cleansing, a toner refreshes the skin and prepares it for serum and cream. This collection includes two rose products: Rose Water Face Toner Spray (100 ml) and Rose Water for Skin Care. Below, we explain how to use them and how they differ.
How to choose a toner or rose water
- Rose Water Face Toner (spray, 100 ml) – cabbage rose (Rosa Centifolia) water and Damask rose oil. It tones, moisturizes and refreshes the skin. Use it after cleansing your face or as a mist during the day. No artificial colorants or synthetic fragrance.
- Rose Water for Skin Care – for toning the face and also as a base for masks: mix it with clay or herbs to a paste-like consistency.
How to use a face toner
- Cleanse your face with a face wash gel and gently pat your skin dry.
- Shake the toner and spray it on your face, neck and décolleté with your eyes closed. Avoid contact with eyes.
- Wait a moment or gently pat the toner in with your hands.
- Apply serum and cream.
During the day, you can use it as a mist to refresh your skin. Before first use, do a patch test on a small area of skin. Store in a cool, shaded place.
Frequently asked questions
Is a face toner necessary?
It isn't a must, but it is a simple step after cleansing: it refreshes the skin, eases the feeling of tightness after washing with a gel and prepares the skin for serum and cream.
How do I use a face toner?
After cleansing, spray the toner onto your skin or wipe your skin with a cotton pad and a small amount of toner, wait a moment, then apply serum and cream. Use morning and evening.
What is the difference between rose water and rose hydrosol?
Hydrosol is the water left after steam distillation of rose petals. Rose water in cosmetics may be pure hydrosol or a blend of hydrosol with other ingredients. Our toner contains cabbage rose water, Damask rose oil, propylene glycol and the preservative potassium sorbate, so it is not a pure hydrosol.
Is rose water suitable for sensitive and dry skin?
We describe the rose toner as soothing and moisturizing, so it is sometimes chosen for sensitive and dry skin. However, rose and other ingredients can cause allergic reactions, so do a patch test on a small area of skin.
Can I use the toner as a face mist?
Yes, the toner comes in a spray, so you can use it to refresh your skin during the day. A mist does not replace a cream, though.
How do I use rose water for masks?
Mix the required amount of clay or herb powder with rose water to a smooth paste and apply it to your face, avoiding the eye area. You'll find masks in the Masks: Clays and Herbs collection.
