Ayurveda starts in the gut
Literally. In Ayurveda, the state of the digestive system — called agni, the digestive fire — determines the health of the whole body. Weak agni means more than bloating and irregular bowel movements. It means poorer absorption of nutrients, a buildup of toxins, lowered immunity and chronic fatigue. Western medicine is slowly reaching the same conclusions by studying the microbiome. Ayurveda has known this for a few thousand years.
Four herbs. Each with a different job.
Triphala powder — the classic Ayurvedic formula of three fruits: amalaki, haritaki and bibhitaki. It regulates intestinal motility, has a gentle laxative effect without being habit-forming, and supports liver and colon detoxification. The powder form lets you adjust the dose flexibly and take it as a cleansing evening drink.
Triphala extract (capsules) — the same three fruits as a standardized extract. A higher concentration of active compounds, a precise dose. For people who prefer a capsule to the taste of the powder or who need a specific, consistent dose.
Amla extract (capsules) — amla on its own, with no additives. It acts on the digestive system in several ways: it regulates stomach acid secretion, speeds up intestinal transit and soothes inflammation of the mucous membrane. It is also one of the richer natural sources of vitamin C — it works both on digestion and on protecting the tissues of the digestive tract.
Curcuma Complex (turmeric + ginger + piperine) — curcumin has an anti-inflammatory effect on the intestinal lining and supports bile secretion, which directly improves fat digestion. Ginger speeds up stomach emptying and reduces nausea. Piperine increases curcumin absorption by up to 20 times — without it, half of the effect would be wasted.
Who it’s for
For people with chronic digestive problems: bloating, a feeling of heaviness after meals, irregular bowel movements, reflux or a tendency toward constipation. For those who eat irregularly, travel a lot or feel that their gut “can’t keep up”. Triphala is suitable for long-term, daily use — it is not a remedy for occasional complaints, but a tool for working with your digestive system consistently.
A healthy gut isn’t about comfort. It’s the foundation.
Nutrient absorption, neurotransmitter synthesis, immune regulation — it all starts in the gut. Ayurveda knew that there is no healthy body without healthy agni. The products in this collection are the simplest way to keep that agni going.
