Natural Henna for Hair | Ayurvedic Plant-Based Coloring
Sattva Henna for Hair – Red 150 g
What makes red henna special?
This is the most classic form of henna – a pure, unmuted red based solely on lawsonia. Unlike blends with amla or indigo, this shade does not cool the color or darken it toward cherry or mahogany.
The result:
-
luminous, fiery copper,
-
a distinct ginger sheen in the sun,
-
a multidimensional color that changes depending on the light.
It is a choice for people who want a true “ginger henna” effect rather than subtle red undertones.
If you want a cooler, deeper shade – check out red wine or burgundy.
If you prefer a softer, slightly muted ginger – consider the Henna Amla shade.
Color results on different base colors
On light blonde hair, you will get an intense, bright copper with a bold character.
On dark blonde hair, the color will be deeper and more chestnut, with a strong ginger sheen.
On light brown hair, the result is a natural, warm chestnut with a distinct copper glow.
On gray hair, the color will be lighter and more luminous. If your hair is very gray, a repeat application may be needed to deepen the effect.
How does plant henna work?
Henna does not lighten hair or disrupt its structure. The natural pigment (lawsone) binds with keratin, coating the hair with a protective layer. As a result, it:
-
strengthens the hair structure,
-
increases its volume,
-
adds natural shine,
-
improves the condition of the scalp.
The color deepens within 24–48 hours of application and lasts 4–6 weeks on average.
Who is it ideal for?
Red henna is recommended for people who:
-
dream of intensely ginger hair,
-
want to switch from chemical to natural coloring,
-
have a sensitive scalp,
-
want natural copper without purple tones,
-
want to make fine hair look thicker.

Henna strengthens the hair structure, improving the condition of the cuticles and the core. Regular use makes the hair smoother, more resistant to damage and full of natural shine.
Henna penetrates the hair structure without damaging its core, which makes it a safe and natural coloring agent. It also protects the hair from the negative impact of external factors.
