Natural Henna for Hair | Ayurvedic Plant-Based Coloring
Henna for Hair – Ash Blonde 150 g
What makes the ash blonde henna shade special?
Ash Blonde is the coolest shade among Sattva’s light blondes. Unlike light blonde or caramel blonde, it doesn’t warm the hair – its job is to tone down and mute excess golden tones.
It doesn’t give a platinum or lightening effect – henna doesn’t lighten hair – but it gives the color a more subdued, ashy character. It’s an excellent choice for anyone whose shade is too warm after previous coloring and who wants to balance it out naturally.
If you’re after a warmer, honey effect, choose light blonde. If you need stronger, cooler darkening, consider dark ash blonde.
Henna color results on different base colors
On light blonde hair, the effect will be most visible – the color will become more neutral and less yellow.
On dark blonde hair, you’ll get a cooler, muted shade without noticeable darkening.
On light brown hair, the effect will be subtle – mainly a reduction in warm glints.
On gray hair, a soft, natural blonde with a slightly cool character will appear.
How does plant henna work?
Ash blonde, like other plant-based shades, doesn’t work like a chemical dye. The plant pigment binds to the keratin on the hair’s surface, forming a protective layer.
As a result:
-
hair becomes more resilient and springy,
-
it gains a natural shine,
-
it’s smoother and less prone to frizz,
-
the scalp stays in balance.
The color stabilizes within 24–48 hours of application.
Who is it ideal for?
Ash blonde henna is recommended for people who:
-
want to cool down blonde hair without a chemical toner,
-
struggle with yellow tones,
-
don’t want to darken their hair to brown,
-
are looking for natural coloring for light and gray hair,
-
want to strengthen their hair structure at the same time.
Note - this shade contains indigo - do not lighten it with bleach.
