What makes Cassia (also known as neutral henna) special?

Cassia Obovata is a plant that has been used in Ayurveda for centuries as a natural way to strengthen the hair and scalp. Unlike the coloring shades, it does not darken hair or give it a red tint.

On very light or gray hair, a subtle golden sheen may appear, but this is not permanent coloring. The main effect is an improved hair structure – hair becomes bouncier, smoother and visually thicker.

Cassia also works well as a treatment between henna colorings – it helps keep hair voluminous and healthy-looking.

Results on different hair types

On blonde and light hair, it adds a subtle golden sheen and boosts volume.

On brown and dark hair, the effect shows mainly as smoothing and strengthening.

On gray hair, it may leave a very subtle warm tint.

On fine and weakened hair, it noticeably improves bounce and makes hair look thicker.

How does cassia work?

Like henna, cassia binds to the keratin on the hair surface, forming a delicate protective layer. It does not interfere with your natural pigment, but it:

Pour the right amount of powder into a bowl and add water at about 50–60°C. Mix into a smooth paste. Apply to washed, slightly damp hair and leave on for 30–60 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with water. Cassia can be used regularly – even every 2–3 weeks.
