Face Serums – Natural Ayurvedic Serums
×
A serum is the most concentrated step in your care routine: you apply it after cleansing, before your cream. This collection has four: Ayur Glow with vitamin C and niacinamide, Bioretinol with ashwagandha, Kumkumadi oil with saffron, and Rose Gold with rosehip oil. Each one does something different, so below we break down what each one is for.
How to choose a face serum
- Ayur Glow – when you want to brighten your complexion and even out your skin tone. Vitamin C (a stable derivative), niacinamide, turmeric, hyaluronic acid and minerals (copper, magnesium, zinc). Light, non-greasy texture. Morning and/or evening.
- Bioretinol with ashwagandha – when you want to smooth and firm your skin. Plant-based Revinage® bioretinol and ashwagandha. In a 4-week in-use test, 93% of participants saw improved firmness, 100% saw smoother skin, and hydration increased by an average of 33%. Morning and/or evening, before your cream.
- Kumkumadi oil – when you want an Ayurvedic night ritual and glowing skin. Kashmiri saffron and Ayurvedic extracts. Massage 2–3 drops into your face and leave on overnight, or rinse off after 30–40 minutes. You can use it as a week-long treatment, every day before bed.
- Rose Gold – rose serum with gold – when you want to nourish and brighten the skin of your face and décolletage. An oil serum with rosehip oil, jojoba, frankincense and geranium oils, and 23 k gold flakes. Shake the bottle and apply morning and evening. Before first use, do a patch test on a small area of skin.
Lightweight or oil-based serum?
Ayur Glow and Bioretinol are lightweight serums that you apply first, right after cleansing. Kumkumadi and Rose Gold are oil-based, so apply them last, just before your cream, or in the evening instead of cream if your skin is dry.

Frequently asked questions
How do you use a face serum?
After cleansing your face (and applying toner), put a few drops on your fingertips and pat them into your face, neck and décolletage. Then apply your cream. Apply a lightweight serum before an oil-based one.
Do you need to apply cream over a serum?
Yes. The serum delivers active ingredients, while the cream locks in moisture and strengthens the skin barrier.
What is niacinamide?
It's a form of vitamin B3. It evens out skin tone, regulates sebum and reduces the appearance of pores. You'll find it in the Ayur Glow serum.
What can you combine niacinamide with?
With most ingredients, as it is well tolerated. In Ayur Glow, it is combined with vitamin C in a single formula. If you're adding several active serums, introduce them one at a time so you know what your skin tolerates.
When will I see results from a serum?
Some people notice a first improvement in hydration and smoothness after 2–4 weeks. In the in-use tests, results were assessed after 4 weeks of regular use.
Can you use a serum during pregnancy?
There's no single answer for all serums. Before using cosmetics with active ingredients during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, consult your doctor and check the recommendations on the packaging.
