Details

The jug is available in two capacities: 1250 ml and 1950 ml. Horizontal striped finish — alternating bands of smooth and matte surface, hammered by hand. Soldered handle, lid with a handle.

Care and use

Before first use, rinse the jug with water, without detergents. Clean it with lemon and salt or with vinegar — avoid the dishwasher and harsh cleaning agents. Do not store acidic or carbonated drinks or milk in it. Darkening over time is copper's natural patina, not a defect — the striped pattern hides it well on the matte stripes, less so on the smooth ones.

Does the jug have a coating inside?

No — it's at least 99% pure copper, with no lacquer and no tin coating.

How does the striped pattern differ from the smooth and hammered ones?

It's a third, distinct finish — alternating bands of smooth and matte surface instead of a uniformly smooth surface or fine embossing. The material and manufacturing technique are the same in all three versions.

How long should I keep water in the jug?

6–8 hours is enough, ideally overnight.

How does the 1250 ml version differ from the 1950 ml one?

Only in capacity — the pattern and craftsmanship are identical
